    I see the first few examples used wrong all the time in blog posts.

  4. I have to say I disagree a little with rule nine. Yes, when used in the general narrative voice the point is correct, but when used in dialogue it indicates context - usually social/age context - and works well without making the writer look silly.

    All the other points are top banana!
